Step-by-step guide to creating a test
1. Create a new test
Click "Tests" in the left menu, then click "Create Test" at the top right.
Give the test a name. Choose a clear, descriptive title that reflects the content.
You can optionally add notes or instructions for your trainees.
Choose the basis for your test:
Learning plan basis: Choose this option to create a test based on the content of an existing learning plan (e.g., for industrial mechanics).
Manual topic selection: Choose this option to select and add topics one by one.
2. Configure topics and questions
After you've chosen the basis, you can adjust the content:
Adjust topics: If you chose a learning plan, you can flexibly remove or add topics.
Set the number of questions and relevance: Decide:
How many questions the test should have.
How relevant to the exam the questions should be.
Generate and review questions: Let the app generate new questions automatically and use the preview function to see them in advance.
3. Set participants and time window
Select participants: Choose the trainees who should take this test (e.g., two first-year trainees).
Set the time limits: Decide on the time window and the time limit for the test.
The time window defines when the test is available for trainees to take.
The time limit defines how long trainees have to complete the test after they start it.
4. Publish the test
Once you've made all your settings, you can publish the test:
Click Publish.
Trainees are notified right away and can start the test immediately.
